Personal weight loss experience inspires On the Line Nutrition

After losing 126 pounds, Dedra Kervin wanted to share the success with others and embrace her weight loss by opening On the Line Nutrition.

Kervin said On the Line Nutrition offers meal replacement shakes, teas, and aloe. In addition to the products, she stated her business connects with the public on a personal level. “I love working with others and after seeing all the fun the nutrition club offered, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. It’s so much more to me than the products we sell. We offer a smile and a place where everyone is welcomed and loved. We want to know your name and really want you to leave out of our nutrition club feeling like you can conquer your day,” she said.

She opened July 1 and said Florala would be the perfect location for On the Line. “We love Florala. We are just right down the road and having so many friends here, there wasn’t a second option. We are more than grateful to be able to be here.” Kervin added how important it is for nutrition to thrive in the body. She said she lacked cooking skills. “We all know there isn’t too much nutrition in mashed potatoes and chicken nuggets, so this helps. If you visit us, you have the opportunity to learn about nutrition and the benefits of different foods.”

Shakes or teas can serve as a meal replacement and help keep you nourished, according to Kervin. “Our shakes have 24 grams of proteins, 21 vitamins and nutrients, and are only around 200 calories. They are paired with a tea that’s not only jam-packed with your B and C vitamins, but that’s boosting your metabolism. It’s a perfect combo. We live in a time where instant and easy is a necessity. I can’t think of a quicker or easier way to make sure I’m getting the nutrition I need to thrive,” she said.

Kervin enjoys being a health coach for the public and takes pride in her work. She said, “I don’t get just one type of person and get to work with everyone. We all have different backgrounds and needs. I can’t imagine doing anything else.”

On the Line Nutrition is located at 23417 5th Avenue in Florala. Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday. For more information call 334-574-0138 or visit them on Facebook and Instagram.

“We want to thank the community for opening their arms and making us feel right at home. This seems like such a small area from the outside looking in, but if you are in the area, making a trip down here is more than worth it. With the nostalgia, the lake, and the shopping, there are so many hidden treasures in Florala. We are literally ‘on the line,’ and call-ins are always welcomed,” Kervin said.
