Host families needed for youth tournament

The City of Andalusia’s Department of Leisure Services is seeking volunteers to serve as host families when the Dixie Youth Baseball 12U O-Zone State Tournament comes to Andalusia July 9th-13th. Anyone who is willing to host players is asked to contact Brandi Hendrix or Selena Williams at 222-2714.

Program director Michael Hourel said organizers are not yet certain how many host families will be needed, as participants are still being determined. Some teams will opt for staying in hotels, but there also are competing events that weekend and limited hotel availability as a result.

Anyone who is willing to host players is asked to contact Brandi Hendrix or Selena Williams at 222-2714.
